The Vasantrao Naik College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Yavatmal was established in the year 2013 affiliated to Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. The College is first Government Agricultural Biotechnology College in Vidarbha Region established by Govt. of Maharashtra. The college is located at Waghapur Road, Yavatmal dist. Yavatmal.
Most of the Population of the Yavatmal district is farming community having Soybean, Cotton and Pigeon pea as a cropping pattern. The Institute has a well experienced and trained faculties for all the academic activities carried out at the institute.
